The Performance Assessment
Every manager is faced with the challenge of improving or optimizing the work performance of his or her employees . The Performance Assessment is a tool developed by Timothy McMahon & Company designed to help you identify "performance factors"; i.e., an employee's beliefs, attitudes, habits, and knowledge which impact their willingness or ability to achieve at the highest levels. By identifying these performance factors a manager can develop more effective coaching and development strategies specific to the needs of the employee.
HOW TO USE THE ASSESSMENT: scroll down through the worksheet entering a number in the red lined cell to the right of the performance factor. Entering a value will display and evaluation of the factor followed by a set of coaching and development strategies. At the end of the worksheet a summary of all assessments and coaching strategies is displayed with the full text of each assessment factor . By clicking on the Excel button on the lower right you may download an Excel copy of the completed worksheet suitable for printing.
